Pro Sport Electric Boost Gauge and Vent Pod is the way to go.

upon searching i finally found a gauge that has red numbers and a white needle...but i found it at a subie site, so im wondering what really is preventing everyone else from getting it for their car.

linky linky

assuming that this is mechanical (why else would it need a T connector?) shouldn't this work in anything?

the only part im not sure about is under the list that says "29 PSI(2 bar) electronic sending unit"....i don't know what that means.

i would also really love to get a boost gauge and i think the ventpod mount makes it look really OEM, but to make it look even more OEM it needs a white needle (08.5+). if only it had that deep purple accent lighting

That is how it is supposed to look. It still gives you a functioning vent, and the gauge is in the middle. It is a sweet setup and looks OEM.

that's fine. just wondering because after 52mm it looks like the next size is 60mm, and i saw the "how-to" one on that; included a dremel and basic destruction of your vent. the flush look of the 60mm did look better IMO, but it doesn't seem like an even enough fit like the ventpod appears to provide

so is there a write up of how to install a vent pod with a 52mm im thinking of going with t but dont know how difficult it is to install

It is really easy. If I recall, it comes with instrux on how to remove the old and install the new. Took 2 minutes.

is prosport any good? sure it's cheap but i see some comments that it's inaccurate.

any comments/suggestions?

I find the Pro Sport to be pretty accurate. My only issue, is that I installed the 3 way T connector too close to the bend in the vent tube(3/16"). That will be fixed next week.

when u mean bend in the vent tube do u mean the ac duct itslef i thik i am deciding to go with thevent pod is there a prosport that looks close to our factory gauges

I also have the prosport and vent pod...works for me. Seems to be accurate (same readings as with both the Dashhawk and the AP)

sweet thanks u guys have sold me to go with this exact set up but autoeuphoria any tips on installing the guage as far as were to run everything wires tubes etc and is there any write up anybody knows about as on how to install it also?

The instructions that come with the ProSport Electric Boost Gauge are pretty easy to understand. You may need a few lengths of wire and an "Add A Circuit" to connect a wire. The cigarette lighter fuse(#43) is best for 12V accessory power.
