BMS buzzer can be turned off!!!

:
2022 CX-5 Turbo
To those who have the BSM system, I am sure you knew that the BSM can be turned off entirely. But, do you know that the buzzer can be turned off w/o turning off the lights in the mirrors?

I only found this out today as I was reading the WorkShop manual (actually trying to find some info, but I stepped up it).

Bad news is that you need the dealer to do that for you...

Sorry, I meant "BSM" not "BMS" for the title. Anyway to change that?...

How do I stop the constant buzzing from my wife who tells me to "Slow Down" and "Be Careful" all the time???

That's what I REALLY need!

2011 Model perhaps?

Unfortunately its "cheaper to keep her"

I think we (men) all have the same problem. I once got so fed up with her telling me to slow down, watch out, et.al. that I pulled over and said to her to please drive yourself or stop nagging at me. We all know how that turned out....in the doghouse until the next morning! LOL!

Wow....bad move....(great thinking though)

There's an easy fix to this.

When she nags you again about your driving just say, "ok, sure" and do it when she's nagging you to slow down...slow down and bite your tongue until the time is right.

The time is right when you know she wants to do something and cannot possibly stop or say no, when she doesn't, you say, "you remember when you asked me to slow down and I did, and you're not doing what I asked, never ask me to slow down again!" Say it calmly and walk off.

Done, you can drive as you wish.

In writting sounds like a perfect plan...but in reality it never works out that way and she always wins. If I want to see her and myself happy I just rather either bite the bullet and listen to her nag about my driving or be in the doghouse for one night...LOL!
