bluetooth audio sound quality

Just picked up my 2016 GT last night and for the most part I'm pretty happy, the lack of a temperature gauge has me scratching my head but I'll survive

Anywho, my question is in regards to bluetooth audio from my phone - i noticed a bit of a hissing in the background when I tried it out this morning, and the volume was considerably softer than when I had sirius turned on (almost positive phone volume was turned up)...anyone else notice background noise/distortion when streaming music this way? Wondering if maybe I need to not put my phone in the tray where the front usb ports are, perhaps this is causing interference? any suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks!

No issues at all with my Bluetooth streaming(android). Perhaps try a different phone and see. If not possible, remove phone and add it again.

turns out the volume on my phone wasn't all the way up as it should be - from what i read the hissing was apparently the system trying to compensate for the low phone volume...will have to be more on top of that i guess
