For all you ice cream lovers out there...

I've been hooked on Blue Bell Key Lime Pie ice cream (first). A distant second is Edy's Real Strawberry.

Ben and Jerry's Phish Food.

I'm hook on University of Wisconsin-madison's Strawberry ice cream.

Edit: Just realize it's not really a nationwide store but a university store (babcocks').

My friend worked at Blue Bell for like 15 months during High School. He brought home so much free pints of ice cream is was unbelievable. It was like he got paid double salary, 6 bucks an hour and 15 bucks an hour in ice cream. Anyways, he even used to bring back the experiment tester flavors. Lemme tell you, if some of those made it to market, Blue Bell would surely have gone under. HAHA

Do you remember any of the flavors that they experimented with?

you mean you can get Blue Bell in Florida? I am amazed....I didn't even know you could get it outside Texas....

and for those of you whom have never had Blue Bell Ice Cream....well you are eating SECOND BEST....that is for sure.

My personal favorite they haven't made in about 10 years.....it was called ChocOlate Moose.....it was chocolate ice cream with HUGE slivers of DARK Chocolate in it....YUMMY!

Blue Bell's 'Good Heaven's.' it's Dutch chocolate + homemade vanilla + chocolate chip cookie dough

it's heavenly good....

Anyone had Graeter's ice cream? It's local here in Cincy, but some Kroger stores just started carrying it. It's the best on earth, trust me. I'm a fat, fat man. I know my ice cream.

Thank God for refridgerated trucks then, because Blue Bell is definitely the best and creamiest ice cream I've had. Where is Brenham located?

Brenham is on highway 290 west of Houston, about halfway between Houston and Austin.

I'm tellin you, BLUE BELL IS THE BEST!! I remember a contractor from California was working with me one night and wanted some ice cream. I recommended Blue Bell. "WTF is Blue Bell?" I went around the corner to the gas station, and bought him a pint. The look on his face was priceless on the first taste. He couldn't believe how good it was. I went to the Brenham factory a couple of years back. The free ice cream was great! I don't buy anything but Blue Bell!
