Best place to get Air Filters for your Intake?

Can anyone suggest some good places price and quality wise? thank you, and thank you to everyone who helped on the cold air intake thread. Also do the Cold Air Intakes come with filters? cause if they do i was thinking about getting the heat shield for it instead

S&B filters are terrible (intenseperformance.com). Try www.performancecenter.com

S&B filters are terrible?!... (boom07) I realize that your opinion, but all I can say is that I've never been able to differentiate the price premium that K&N places on their filters. I've ran S&B filters for years w/o any problem what-so-ever....I just (hah) when I see an overvalued K&N filter....

I could have sworn my k&n 7 inch long filter element filter was like 35 or 38 or somethin like that.. free shipping.

If I did it again I'd get one of those ApeXi that isn't oiled I keep hearing how nice they are.

1st, S&B filters cost practically the same as K&N Filters. 2nd, everyone knows that red oil filters better than blue oil (lol2) . 3rd, far more r&d and testing go into K&N filters. Most other manufacturers simply try to copy the K&N and don't test at all. and 4th, at one time we sold S&B and K&N filters. We stopped selling the S&Bs due to the poor quality and the lousy QC. Maybe you've just been lucky with the ones you've gotten for so long.
