Hi fellow CX-5 owners,
I had to have the battery and the starter replaced on my 2014 CX-5 and since then, the average fuel economy gauge seems to act weird. Or at least not like it used to.
Before the new battery and starter, I would get consistant readings - about 11,5 L/100Km.
Now, and even with resetting the gauge, I get the same reading after driving for a while but where it gets weird is the day after, with the car idling for about 15 minutes to let it warm up due to cold weather, I get a reading of 22L/100Km and the car didn’t even move since parked in the driveway the day before. It never did such a thing before the new battery.
Anything I should be looking into?
Thx
Marco
