I think im gonna leave best buy out of anything and everything to do with my car, I care about it too much. I got this pos compaq laptop from them 3 years ago and im glad i got the 3 year warranty on it because ive been using every penny of it. I dont get a long well with the people at best buy and there all focused on the worng things if you ask me, not to mention the 30 min drive to the closest one.

yea, thats the amp I have, its gonna be good enough for two 10s as long as i use the 4 gauge wire right?

I dont want to blow my windows out I just want more bass than im getting from these stock s****, and it would be nice to crank it up a bit just so I dont have to listen to this music people in hondas like to listen to around here.

DONT have Best Buy install your radio, they messed up my first system so I had my friend help me and I learned helping him. The install isn't bad, and the DX owners have it easy. There is already a hole in the firewall that's perfect for running the cable through.

Yea, i found that hole when i ran a switch for my fogs! lol, I was like...wft...then poked it a few times with a screwdriver and I saw the light! How cool was that? Im gonna need some insulation to go around the wire though to fill up the rest of the hole. And hell no best buy is never gonna touch my car, i dont even like buying stuff from them anymore, you guys are making me want to do this myself now. I guess it couldnt hurt to give it a shot, afterall im the only person i really trust with my car anyways, and if I F up then ill take it to someone, well see how it goes.

I pulled that rubber cap off first, and then used a razorblade to cut a hole in the middle. Then I fed the power wire through the hole and firewall. I pulled all the power wire I needed through and then slid the rubber cap back on. My friend put something around the power wire and the rubber cap, maybe RTV?

I had nothing going through that hole before my fogs, there is a white plastic snap in piece to cover the hole, my fog wire was small enough that i didnt cut anything, I guess I could just cut the right size hole in the cover somehow and make it work.

Hmm I guess someone replaced it at some point. I am the original owner on mine. Yeah you can probably make something to work.

Yea, my mom bought my car from the mazda dealer with 30 miles on it, she finally got it paid off and went out to get another car so I took it off her hands, im gonna be getting the title in the mail in a few days with my name on it! And my custom "JEG0024" lisence plate! My mom accually said to me the other day that she liked what I had done with the car, my dad really hasnt ever said that, it was the last thing id expect from her. My dads gonna be pissed if he finds out im putting this system in, he hates em. lol hey ill talk to ya later, ive been up sence 7, I had classes this morning. Thanks for the help.
