Audio System Hook-up

Did you use electrical tape to cover the wire splices? Maybe one of the wires is loose. I had my friend solder the connections when I installed a HU in the pro. I had just twisted the wires together and used electrical tape on my install on my last car. It was very annoying to go back and fix the wires a few times because they came loose.

That dual sub box really kills your trunk space. I had a single sub box made for my 240 hatch, used it in my Subie and now the Pro. It's been able to fit with ease in each car. You should shop around for a box that fits your trunk better. I have a 10" that hits well and the box still leaves a good portion of the trunk free.

The wiring harness I put on with crimpers and that sort of stuff, im gonna check it tomorrow, it really dont bother me not to have it but its good to have everything balanced well. You have pleanty of room in your trunk, I really never use mine though so I think ill be ok. The box is really deep and is sealed off nice, it hits hard and I have it up aginst the back seat so people accually like riding in the back now! I think that heavy box dropped my car a bit in the back too, id rather have the front lower than the back though.

Got the driver door speaker working! The wire was pulled out of the plug on the harness a little bit, just pushed the pin back in and its working great, I never really wanted a system in my car but im glad I did, and thanks everyone because I couldnt have done it by myself without your help! Saved me the $70 they wanted to install it, thanks guys!
