Apex Catless Downpipe

Friday night after work, I went to go and pick up an Apec catless downpipe for $120 from a fellow member. I installed it yesterday and once I started the car, what a big difference! It sounds more aggressive and after the testdrive, I noticed the car pulls much harder all over the powerband and spools up quicker. I'm very pleased with this upgrade and highly recommend it but the only negative about it is that it is pretty damn loud. (shocked) After it stops raining, I'll post some pictures and maybe a few video clips.

I'm glad to hear that you are happy with your new mod. It's the cats that are the big restriction for power and for holding back the noise. What else do you have done to the car? Post a vid clip.

i felt the same difference when I installed Apex's catted downpipe...minus the extra loudness...definitely a good mod(first)

when I had mine it didnt seem like it got much louder. did you change the gasket when you switched? it might be leaking

My mod list are in my sig. I used the rear gasket that the muffler shop gave me for the cat-back. I think my exhaust is loud because its side exit exhaust. Early today I took a picture or 2 and 2 video clips. Right now I'm at work so when I get home, I'll upload them for all of you.

Yeah, I'll try to take a picture from the underneath. It's basically a 4" round body Magnaflow muffler with 2.5" crush bent pipe since the I don't of any muffler shops that mandrel bend in my area.
