Anyone out there install these speakers...

in the back door of a Mazda Protege 5 (2002). I'm wondering if they'll fit or not. They are the Infinity REF6012SI - Infinity 6-1/2" two-way shallow-mount loudspeakers. I saw them on woofersetc dot com.

Thinking of pairing them up with some other infinities in front.

I have the inifinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 components in the front and they are pure bliss (powered by an alpine amp) I like infinity speakers. Im sure you will be pleased with them

EDIT: wow! Boy did they drop in price. I paid close to $500 when I purchased these YEARS ago. Now they can be found on ebay for $170, brand new!

I have the Infinity Ref 6x8's for my front speakers and couldn't be happier. I have them paired with a set of Infinity Ref 6x9's in my rear deck. I love them.

i have the refrence 6X8's up front... and they are really nice (not as nice as the 6X9 infinity kappas, in the rear deck, but still), run em off of a amp if you really want em to sing ... you wont be dissapointed, i swear by em.
