Lol. Hopefully I will be selling my MS3 soon. Starting to hear noises I don't like.

I'm thinking my VVT actuator/timing chain assembly is not in optimal condition. That seems to be where the sound is coming from.

Will have to head to the dealershit again lol.

@Holy_Fluck I've seen yellow and titanium as well... but rarely. Is it that bad to drive MSP during winter? I mean I've seen 350Z, miata, RSX-S and ITR driven during winter.

So IMO rust check and rust proofing is really going to make a difference in the long run, it's money worth spending for those who drives their car in the winter.

Nothing wrong with driving in the winter. I personally don't but then again I don't have any rust proofing on it or anything. I just saw an Aston Martin driving the other day in the snow and if people heard that I park my MSP for the winter, they would probably think I'm crazy.

BTW any one know of a good auto body/paint shop? I got a new rear lip from Ebay but they gave me a Sunlight Silver one instead of Titanium. Any one know roughly as to how it would cost as well?

I have 215/45/17 on my P5 with espelir springs but i still have a 1/2" fender gap. No Rub for me. You saw my car though.

Last time I paid someone to do a timing belt was on my toyota camry. It cost me about 500 parts and labor.

Thanks for the reply Alamo1, the reason I'm asking is because I just had mine done. It costs just about 1G. I didn't think it would cost me this much which set me back A LOT. Now I can't buy new exhaust *sigh I thought I would have some fun this summer since I'm getting new set of tires and rims and getting some bolt ons install.

BTW how is the AWR rear mount working for u? Did u get it installed?

Diff car, But my awr, 88 DURO, ROCKS! its super solid, takes away a s*** ton of drive train lash and makes the car easier to drive. Stiffer motor mounts are a must for anyone wanting to have more fun with their car.

I agree about the AWR mount. I have one in my MS3 and it made a night and day difference. It is a quality piece. It is still like new after 10,000km.

I'm in edmonton, although I just bought my protege5 so I wouldn't be much help to anyone. I drive a silver p5. Just blacked out the emblems, alot easier than I though it would be!
