anyone have the GHL catback??

hey im going to pick one up on thursday and was just wondering if anyone has one that can chime in on the sound. from the youtube clips ive watched it sound quiter than the corksport one, but still has a nice deep burble. any drone at highway speeds?

I've heard it in person compared to a magnaflow, it is louder than the magnaflow for sure, not sure how either compares to the corksport though.
Too loud for me with a test pipe, droned and made inside the cabin unbearably loud in my opinion.

just installed the GHL and man is it loud. but in a good way. really deep tone that sounds super sexy. only bad thing is now i have something rattling in the cabin at around 3000 rpm. ill try and post a video tomorrow.

I had the GHL w/ resonator put in a few months ago, and I love it. Not too loud with the resonator, and it's not raspy.

The only downside (which is minor) is that plastic drinks will vibrate in the cup holders. No other vibs though... I don't feel any at all, it's just that drink bottles can rattle a bit. I don't even notice it anymore though. Did you get the resonator with it?

I also don't have a test pipe or dp. I've read that it makes it loud as hell, regardless of what cbe you have. Highway drone hasn't been an issue for me. Here's a clip I made at idle w/ a few revs:

yea i have a test pipe and it is extremely loud. and no i dont have a resonator, defin thinking of welding one in, or getting the corksport racepipe. love the sound tho

Yeah I had a GHL catback with a test pipe a year ago. It was loud . Definately the sexiest rumble of all the catbacks imo. Just tested the exhaust so didn't keep. Too expensive. Magnaflow is the least noisy and I got mine for 250 bucks!.
