Miss AsianHottie?

Not a chance in hell.

But regarding that intake I'd say the noise is pretty normal. The factory intake muffles a lot of sound. At idle or coasting your engine pulls a lot of vacuum. When you press the gas there is a rush of air through the intake and past the throttle body to fill that vacuum. The stock intake conceals that noise pretty well and is likely all you are hearing. Sounds neat to me...

answer to question #1 (the thread title) no

answer to question #2 YES, this is normal...you are just hearing the air being sucked into the engine by you putting your foot on the gass and asking for MORE.

Sounds great doesn't it?

i have a CAI and my friend has the SRI and both make a hearty growl too when reving 4K+ rpms!

#1 -- Ehhh, Negative
#2 -- I always thought it sounded kind of strange personally. But with my old Probe GT I learned to like it. Did you notice any improvement in throttle response?

I would like to say I felt an improvment but the answer is sound, but it was worth it for the sound alone, sounds really nice @4000+ rpm's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

I heard there is some improvment with the cold air's but again, nothing thats going to amase you
