Anyone done CF hood on a Titanium and...

I was thinking about it ION I am not sure I like that look yet. Plus All my money is going into makink more HP right now, Might make it lighter later. For $1000.00 I would rather have your FMIC, my guy that is doing my car is custom making an Ice cooler for it now we will see how that goes, If not I am going with your FMIC

orangezoom - for daily driving, using a A2W I/C isn't a very good idea, you'll basically need to add another radiator to cool the water. Plus it adds quite a bit to weight, especially since 1mL of H20 = 1g, so 1L = 1KG = 2.2lbs + all the ice etc.

I will tell him what you said maybe we will just go with your FMIC you seem very knowledgeable. Thanks for the response.

I do have one Question though he has a honda with this and he said his ambient temp at the engine was like 82 degrees the FMIC won't come near that will it?

orangezoom - the charge temps will be much cooler when you're driving @ speed. The faster you go, the colder the charge temps are for a FMIC.

rims sold, ion turbo back on the way! no holes drilled for washer nozzles. hope Black Majik realizes I didn't make the comment on using pics but Funspeed did. two different titaniums all together.

i say just get the hood but dont paint it, looks best like that in my opinion.

I don't like big square areas of carbon fiber... I like it to have a little design and personality. That's just me though.

I'm planning on doing the paint job pictured (or one very similar). You'll just have to wait until after the first of the year to see it ;)
