If I brought my flash the first one would be so much better, I could've lit up left side of the car from behind the trash bin. Maybe I'll go and redo it.
First two are on a tripod, rest are hand held. These are just test shots with 80-200mm, 'cause I'm in the middle of exams.

with correct exposure?

You just have to figure out how long your exposure should be to make the lightning and the foreground evenly exposed. You can't do 30 second exposures because the foreground will be destroyed and the lightning barely visible.

thanks, lack of storms here so i dont get to work on storm shots too often. i usually just end up pointing at the sky and not having foreground objects.
