Any one tried wheel spacers on msp/mp3's ??

16' Mazda3, MSP
I ran to http://www.hrsprings.com/site/index.html
Even though they are listed for MP3's i think they'll go for MSP as well rite??
There's couple options from 5-25mm spacers (5mm increments).
Has any one tried these ( or any other brand ones) and/or knows a thing or two , who can give some feedback ??
I was thinking of getting 15 or 20mm spacers , any opinion/feedback on this as to is worth or not , or will it rub on fenders specially the back ones thats what i'm more concern ??

This could be something new ??

it's been tried before...I can't remember who or where...but I think you will need longer wheel studs as a result.

I used to run 15mm hubcentric spacers on the front of my Pro5 until just recently. I bought my spacers off Ebay. they were supposed to be for a Maxima (IIRC) and I had to modify them slightly on my lathe to fit the Mazda centerbore. I'm using an 8mm regular spacer with longer studs now.

I only used the spacers on the front. It makes the car look a little more "even" since the front wheels tuck farther inside the fenders than the back ones.

I just installed a set of 3mm spacers last weekend. My center caps on the back wheels kept falling off because of the dust cap on the hub. I didnt notice any difference with the spacers on, and I was still able to get 6 turns on my lugs so I dont think I need longer studs.

Adding spacers decreases your offset, msp's require at least +45. My wheels are +48 so the 3mm puts me at +45.

I have a set of 10mm with longer studs...if anyone needs a set.

Are those used ??
What size have you on and how well they perform ??
BTW I have stock rims so any problem w/ that or not ??
One more thing if i get them will the rear tire rub on the top side w/ the body ???

I was going to use them to space out the Konig wheels I had to clear the Rotora BBK. They are new...and I dont know if they would work for the rear...they came with studs too.

I ran 5mm spacers for about a year with no extended studs. I checked them regularly for a while to make sure the lugs were still tight. My mechanic had a few sets made for his speed and I purchased one of them. The car looked really good. I put them on the same day I bought my bfg kdw2 tires. 5mm may not seem like much, but it really gave the car a meaner stance. And that was before I put springs on it. There not on the car now because I had some slight vibrations coming from the front of the car, so I pulled the spacers off. That quieted things a bit, but the noise worsend over time anyway. I was pretty sure it was my rotors that were warped at that point. Stock wheels and tire size btw. And I don't remember if I ever had the spacers on with the springs at the same time.

how hard were they to put them in and can you elaborate on how you installed them ?? did you have them on front and rear ??
did you see any "good" on using them ?? and where did you buy the first set ones and how much were they if you can remeber??
lmk

If your not doing new/longer studs, all you have to do is jack the car up pull your wheel/tires off and slide em on. Make sure there completely flush and not sloppy and through the rollers back on. I had em on all four sides and they were about 70 bucks from my mechanic. He only had a couple sets custom made though. I'm not sure if the car cornered better or not with them on. Its been awhile sincd I've had them on. Keep in mind I had fresh kdw's and a fresh allignment. I guess the car might have been a little more planted or something. maybe a track pro could elab some for us.

you think he can make 10mm ones , he does good job ??

With stock wheels and suspension and increased front negative camber you can go +15 mm front, in the rear with increased negative camber you can go +10 mm without rolling the lips.

so 15mm in the back will rub eh ??

if i decide to go w/ 10mm or 15mm I'll defenly need longer studs right ??

if so can you ask you're mech if he can do a set for me , pm if its possible ??

i need to do alignment so if i get hands on some of these i'll do it after spacers go in which makes a nice set up imo.
