If anyone uses thier glove compartment at all, have you noticed quick and noticable "wear" above the little lever (where your thumb would go when opening)? At first i figured it was just some skin oils or something, but I tried to armorall it to clean it off and it just stayed...not complaining, just observing

WOW RED FLAG
do not use armorall i repeat do not use armorall it will crack anything over time
trust me. do not use armorall
go to WWW.ZAINOBROS.COM and order there products they have the best out there.
TRUST ME.

Raerae is correct armorall causes cracking.....but I notice the same problem over my glovebox and I dont use armorall, at first I thoght it was my girlfriend putting her feet on my dash (I hate that s***) but I think its some sort of factory defect.

My gf would get ******* slapped if she put her feet up in my car!!! No offence to girls, just people not being nice to my car

Thanks for the anti-Armorall notice.
I'll "just have to go ahead and get rid of that...mmkay." :o

ok ok what about this observation.. when you look under your trunk you notice a white handle like if you were locked in you trunk for some odd ball reason you could just lift the switch and wammo your trunk comes open

I've heard many people argue that armor all cracks things over time. I've seen no evidence of it in the 20 years I've been using it though. All my cars I've used it on, and all my fathers cars while I was taking care of his as well. NONE had any cracking whatsoever, and I'm always getting top dollar for trade-ins. My cars are kept in such good condition that the every car that I've had, my fathers included were sold before they were even officially traded in. Between the mechanics, salepeople, friends of friends etc fighting over who gets them it's hilarious. My last car I traded in for the MP3, was sold before I even had the mp3. I was driving a "normal" protege, and a P5 while waiting for the mp3 to get in.

The car traded in before that, when I went to bring it down to the dealership, 6 people were waiting for the car to test drive it. LOL. Some had driven from the other side of the island to get here. Amazing. Every now and then I see one of our old cars driving around, and I'll take a quick look at them.....sure enough, no cracking.

Now, I've never used it on leather, or vinyl seats. Only on the dash, and stereo. Maybe it's a particular material that does crack, but I've yet to see it. I've seen guys literally go nuts with the stuff, and use it on the hoses in the engine. Now that's way beyond me, but no cracking eithier.

Just for a thought though, I bought the mp3 late in the year. I've never needed to touch it with armor all yet. It's just to cold here to do stuff like that.

Mass & Linux im glad you found it comical....was afraid for a quick sec there i might offend someone, id never do that but i think you know what i mean if youre laughing!!! LOL

And that white handel in the trunk will glow if youre stuck in the trunk...it is a release, was invented because kids were playing hide and go seek and hiding in trunks, then couldnt get out and sufficating...so If you happen to decide to hide from your parents by taking a nap in the trunk and become short on breath, pull the glowing handel...see our car did come with neon! kinda :D :D
