Amping speakers in pr5's

to those with pr5s that have bought aftermarket speakers and are amplied. I was wondering how you routed new wires from the amp to the speaker? did you have to drill holes?

right now i am deciding weather or not to buy a new amp, this is what i have already

Pioneer DEH6400 HU
Clarion 5x7 SRC5794 for the fronts
rear speakers are stock
