ALPINE EX-10 trying to install via AUX INPUT ON MAZDA3

hi people!

i just bought online the new alpine ex-10 display and ipod controller for my mazda 3 2007 , i already had the original ipod adapter for mazda to use with the steering wheel controls but it lacked most of ipod cool functions like displaying album art and songs names and this display does it for me but the thing is that im planning on installing it myself with the aux input but it stopped working after i installed the ipod adapter as i believe this happens when you install accesories like this one on the factory stereo.

the question is how do i enable it back? i believe i have to disconnect the ipod connector but which one is the aux cable? i have opened my dash and have seen all the cables but dont remember any loose cables hanging around ,maybe is there but where to look? hope someone can direct me to some other thread with pics

My AUX IN cable was just hanging behind the HU losely. Just look around, I think people have it in different places because the dealer does not put it in a consistent place when they plug in the Sirius

oh thanks, let me check it out when my ex-10 arrives and hope its there, how is the end cable shaped like?

yes! the aux cable was hanging around somewhere...
