I Installed it today, and am happy to say that I'm in love! I used to have a Pioneer 6500 but this Alpine matches perfect at night (with amber) and is just really clean looking. I was kind of aggravated because all day every time I go over a bump it says "INTERRUPT" and it just won't go away unless I move the whole dash kit around, like there's some kind of depth problem maybe? I don't know. It wasn't user friendly at first, but I am already getting used to it. The sound, however, is just a huge difference between stock. While the difference between the Pioneer isn't really big, it's still there and does sound better. I took pictures, but my Camera won't upload the pics until my battery charges all the way. :( Will post them up tomorrow.

I installe dthis unit in a friends jeep and really like the unit. Too bad I have a pioneer XM setup and blue color scheme or I would get that unit too.

Yeah Alpine decks are the s***. If you are having a prob with the interrupt coming on the deck, check the pink wire on the harness it might be touching ground when you hit bumos. that wire is for the cell phone feature on the deck. If the wire sees power or ground it will do that. It turns on the interrupt for the cell phone on the deck.

You don't have the deck fastened in propery. It should not have much ability to move.

Either that or its defective.

I'd go to the store and see if the floor model will put up the same message if you give it a "bump" sized shake.

Well most people that don't do installs for a living will not get the deck monted in good cause they will just put in the cage and leave it like that. I have done many Alpine deck installs and have never had a problem with the interrupt coming on by vibration. The only time the interrupt will come on is if the pink/blk wire gets signal to cut off the audio playing on the deck.

hmm, good call, it could be a loose/shorted/crushed wire.

For some reason my camera takes huge pictures, I just got it. Nikon 5700? Well, I don't know how to make them small enough to even post. Someone help me out?
