Ah this topic brings me back to the beginnings of this forum when we used to ask the differences between US/Canadian MP3s. A good chunk of US MP3s came with the Z828 stereo as well, but I'm pretty certain that all the Canadian ones had it, not just some.

I guess it's true that it's unfair that some owners got different versions of the stereo, but at the same time, everybody did know what they were buying when they signed the papers and put the money down...if you didn't like what you were getting, it's simple enough to walk away.

Yeah, I started that damned petition. I also started it when I was a young, immature.... wait, that was only a year ago . Seriously though, I was quite ticked off about the people who got the z828 stereo, and let my anger make me think that MazdaUSA would actually replace 100s of stereos .

While I still think it is unfair, if you read the fineprint, the same model/year of a car can be equipped with different equipment at any time, and that is what would never help us. Oh well. Sorry guys.
