Ah, you've never worked for the Federal gov., have you? Downloading and installing is blocked and all ports that IM programs use. It sucks, I also can't update any software either, have to get helpdesk to do that. I used AIM Express when I was at college and on classroom machines.
Yep, down here at State explaining to callers that yes, they have to be US citizens to work for the Federal gov. and no, they have to have more qualifications than just being able to speak 5 languages. Also, no I don't know what hiring looks like for other Federal agancies, because I don't work for those agencies.
