afc install questions

some of the wires on the ecu dont match the colors in the instructions. and i cant find any pin #'s on the ecu (that are legible atleast) so if i could get some help that'd be awesome. looks like a simple install, just need a quick hand. maybe some pictures or maybe somebody else had this problem and how they solved it. i would HATE to have to goto a shop for this. thanks a bunch fellas.

yea what car and what AFC

If its the MSP and the DSMconvert AFC then you must be looking at the wrong harness cause the pin numbers should ALL match up. i think there may be two large harnesses around the ECU not sure though.

I wired my boost controller with that it should help you let me know how afc works out for you I'm thinking of getting one how much was it

i run ten psi on high boost and i love the AFC. I need to get the upgraded maps on there though. I dont have the right connection from my computer. You need a serial port. But other than that the thing is AWESOME

i had him preload the fmic maps onto it for me. i have a hiboost fmic, boost controller, aem cai, kartboy SS and bushings, boost gauge, and a MAM midpipe on the way. im doing the intake right after i finish the afc. and as soon as the midpipe comes its going in too. hopefully by next week my car will actually feel faster. im gonna run 10 psi with these mods, whaddya think? will i feel good power now or what. thanks.

you will notice a big change with just the exhaust. with all that going on this close together you will love it. but of course you get used to it and you wont think its fast for a while until you beat the small block v8 and you are happy again.

thats what i like to hear. well heres my issues, specifically. ok instead of having a lavender/gray wire i have a lavender (or grey, still wondering) and red. instead of light green and black it looks like i have yellow and black (or a real lime green) and instead of green and black i have black and blue. i cant find where the pin #'s are so i cant go on. thanks.

if you look to the ends of the rows there are numbers. that is the number for the first or the last pin in that row. you just look at that number and count down from there.
