advice on audio mods for new Mazda6

I am debating whether to install the iPod integration kit or not. i am ok with the audio in since it in my console on my 2010 Mazda6. Has anyone installed it and taken it up into the console? I just find the cable to be annoying, we have that in our 2001 Civic and there needs to be a cleaner neater way of adding it to the car.

Also, the basic speakers aren't bad for now, but any recommendations for speakers?

For door speakers I'd go with some Rockford Fosgate components, or some Alpine components. And if money is no matter...go for some infinity kappa's.

Really? Money no object and you would select Infinity? Have you even heard component kits from Focal, Hertz or many other higher quality manufacturers?

I have some older MB Quarts (from when they were good) from another vehicle I have thought about installing, but will seriously consider going with some others as well. Have only had the car for 1 day so I will need some time to plan out the system.
