Add Navigation Panel on a 2015 CX-9 Grand Touring (pics & part numbers)

I have not purchased this yet, I've done all the research. I checked behind the panel to make sure the wires were there and have the Mazda OEM part numbers.

My 2015 Grand Touring came with everything except Navigation. I really didn't care until the wife kept telling me a truck this beautiful should have it all. I have OCD so of course I obsessed over it to the point I had to look into it.

So the 2015 seems to be in limbo as it doesn't share the same exact Mazda part number for the NAVI / Card Slot panel as the 2013-2014 models. I contacted QuickParts who has the most OEM Mazda parts listings on eBay. They responded and asked for the VIN number so they can verify with Mazda of the parts needed for the panel.

The 2015 requires two Mazda part numbers: Navi System TK22-66-EFOB & the Panel TKYI-79-BCX.

I convinced QuickParts to do an eBay listing just for the 2015 CX-9 for both these parts. Prices I would expect to be in the $500-$550 range. I'll post their link if they do one.

For those who don't know, the CX-9 Navi panel is located on the drivers side under the tailgate button, lighting button, etc.

The CX-9 is prewired for NAVI so behind the panel is all the wires needed, it's just plug and play (see pics).

All that's left to buy after this is the memory card with the maps. They are all over the internet from $49 (saw some used ad's) to $149 depending where you buy. I think Amazon for Canada or USA is $108.
