I crashed my P5 tonight due to poor road condition and bad tires. The stock Dunlop SPort5000 tires are total garbage anyone who has them change them quickly. I had 4 others in the car with me, everyones fine..could of been alot worse or not of happened if i had better tires...the cars not totaled but will need alot of work. I want to throw on a full body kit..any suggestions?? thanks.

Where do you live? Was it a snow and ice situation?

Glad you are o.k.....now you know how valuable snow tires are.

our stock tires are great.... in summer on good roads. ;)

I would suggest mintblue or wings west or buddy club 2

Not driving in relation to the road conditions is not the fault of the tires...blame yourself not the tires.

Dunlops are not bad tires.... in the wet or dry. however, they are really bad in the winter, snow and ice. they are actually rated high performance all season. so that itself is an indication that the treading isn't geared for severe winter usage. maybe you should have evaluated your driving situation before you blame it all on your tires.

I am driving on the stock dunlops - second winter in a row. You just need to use your head when snow is on the ground.

Ditto here...the ABS helps me out as well. I have no problems in snow, rain, half-and-half.

20mph was still in 1st gear comin off a side street less than an inch of snow..i slid over 50feet and hit a wall head on the front rear tire shredded and the steel belt was exposed afta the accident

i never had a problem before i drove over 90miles with over 2feet of snow on the ground and i held just fine. when the cops and firefights arrived they found half the tire stuck up in the wheel well...ill try and post pics tomorro

yeah.. 20MPH in first? thats just nuts... in snow (with crappy tires)you want the lowest amount of torque you can manage so you don't just spin em but instead get just a gradual acceleration.... unless you are aiming to go up a bigass hill... wackiness

oh yeah... glad you are ok... when its all done, I'm sure your ride will end up looking badass

Wanna hear something......strange? I was kind of thinking that if I got into a minor fender bender I could put a body kit on my car in the spring. he he he Lots of winter left!
