I previously owned a 97 protege and a lady had tried to get in the left lane while I was still in it. She scraped the side of my car and knocked the passenger mirror off. *b***** Just so you know I'm a woman and in my 10 years of driving have never hit anyone else. Had some close calls of course but that's to be expected with anyone who's been driving a while.
