A couple pics of my new (to me) P5

Circuit

Low and Slow

I am pretty new to these boards, so here are a few pics of my P5. Any comments, suggestions, constructive criticism, and/or questions are welcome! A short mod list will follow the pictures. I have big plans for her, but I have to budget the mods with the car payment haha.

I KNOW she needs a drop, but I want to save up and do it right with some Tein, AWR, or AutoExe coilovers (or what ever else is a great quality coilover).

Welcome........You just made me get yellow fogs. NICE

(cool) Glad I could help! I had been contemplating yellow overlays for the headlights, but I think I will just paint the insides black and go 4300k HID's

if you havent heard yet
ive been told silver is faster...

Yeah I found that out with my silver Eclipse, hopefully this car doesn't get totaled as fast lol.

Welcome! Bay Area huh? I'm not too far from you either.

Nice! I'm actually in Belmont. We need to get a Bay Area meet going!

Thats our secret (lol2)

Sorry for you G3 lost man... welcome to the Mazda "Familia"

Seems your big with Audio / check out the audio section... 5's like Bigwoofer's and others mess with you head... and wallet.

Yeah I definitely keep my eyes on the audio section. I already have an install log for my car in there! Hey you found my club3g.com posting about my car haha. I am definitely staying an active member over there since they were such a great help to me when I had my 3G. I hope to be an active and helpful member on this board too!

Hey, I noticed the Roadshop sticker on the back...do you work at Circuit City or just have the sticker?

welcome to the fourm, nice car. what did u use to lift the battery up higher, i see some metal and some kind of tray.

In my opinion first thing will look good on her are:

1. drop it 2''
2. Exhaust
3. Cold air intake
4. 17'' rims ( the p5 already comes with nice looking rims )

Leave the rims for the end ;)

2 inches is alot for the protege5
plus, you would probably rub with 17 inch wheels if you were lowered that much

Alright then, 1'' or 1.5''

Btw on ebay i just can find springs lowered by 2'' forthe protege.. where cani find one about 1'' or 1.5'' thx!

The battery actually comes with that spacer tray. The metal bracket is for my fused 1/0 gauge (+) distribution block.

Well I am planning on going coilover, so I can dump it to any height I want. I am definitely saving up for the Racing Beat Exhaust and K&N CAI, but I first have to make sure they won't void the extended warranty I purchased. I REALLY want a set of MSP wheels, but I can't afford it right now.

Sweet, I work at the Circuit City here and do Roadshop Sales too. And we drive the same car and same color....crazy.

Haha Awesome. I met a guy last night that is on the same 3G eclipse forum as me, and he had the same position, and the same audio system that was in my eclipse that is now going into the P5.
