45k Maintenance and suggestions

I bought a 2008 speed 3 about 4 months ago. It is approaching 45K and I'd like to switch to synthetic and change out the tranny fluid to royal purple. The dealership sent me a 45k maintenance schedule and it looks like mostly tire rotation and fluid checks. Any other suggestions? I love the car and would like to stay on it with the services.

Folks here swear by Ford's tranny fluid. Whenever I buy a used vehicle, I change all the fluids unless something hasn't reached the service interval yet.
