Down-shifting into 2nd gear is kind of harsh if you arent real easy on the clutch... any thoughts? (Fully bolted MS6 with 60,000 miles. New 3rd & 4th gears and all synchros.)
It will effect the effort needed to move the shifter (not the internal selector) but will not cause internal problems of any sorts. In no way will a short shifter cause internal harm unless there are problems already.
