215/35/18 for around $100/ea?

Tire Rack sells the General Exclaim UHP (I believe it is marketed as an ultra-high performance all-season tire though) for $86. I have them in a 205/45-16 on my stock wheels and they are very quiet, and lighter in weight than comparable tires. Pretty good wear as well. I also have the Kumho 712's (2nd set, I got 40,000 miles out of the first set) on my 18" wheels, nice even wear, and decently quiet. The tire gets a bit quieter after it warms up. Other than that there is not much in the $80-$100 price range, with the exception of a few Taiwan made tires (Nankang, etc). There are significantly more choices once you get above $125. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks. I think I might just go with the 712s. The price is good and I'm sure the complaints from people on this board are just nit-picking or at best comparisons to tires close to twice thier price.
