There is a guy on YouTube that seems to have it installed already. The only thing that the SRI seems to be missing so far is the heat shield.

For anyone that has it installed:

1. Do you notice a difference in terms of the torque output?
2. What is the MPG like for a daily driver (Better/same/worse)?
3. What do you not like about it?

You should check the cx-9 and cx-5 forums. A lot of people have it installed there and since it is kore or less the same engine i think it would behave similarly.

Inherently your IATs will be greater using these type of designed air intake systems.
But they do look and sound great.

They sound great BUT. They increase the heat being pulled into the engine there by decreasing power output (especially during summer months where it will cause the engine /intercooler to heat soak sooner)…check out YouTube. There’s been many test done that proves factory air boxes with k&n filters offer better/more consistent gains. It’s one of the main reasons why people with huge aftermarket turbos don’t even bother with pod filters. As they do not increase power.

Better off spending that money on a tuner or upgraded intercooler and piping and premium fuel.
