I was washing my new car for the first time and I noticed some creaking noises as I washed both the front driver and passenger doors and it was easy to figure out that it was the black trim on the door near the base of the windows. All along those strips, it just takes a bit of pressure to sort of make those strips crinkle and move around a bit.
Since then I've been checking out the door trim on that same spot and all other manufacturers I've tried are using a different, more rubbery material there, that seems better affixed.
Has anyone else noticed this on the CX5, this model year or earlier? This is not a huge big deal, but it is the second or third exterior trim piece that wiggles/moves/creaks/groans much more easily than I would expect from a car in this price range.
Just trying to see if it's "just me" or if others are getting this impression.
