It should be. There's a tweak (SSH bringback) that will allow you to retain SSH on the updated firmware. I have 55 753 as my firmware, so SSH was still retained without the tweak to do so. You don't really need SSH for installation of most tweaks, but it is nice to have in case something goes wrong.

I recommend checking out http://mazda3revolution.com/forums/...io-electronics/122458-aio-all-one-tweaks.html. There is built-in compatibility checks for most of the tweaks, and the AIO allows for quick installing/uninstalling of any tweaks.

I have a majority of the available tweaks installed (including the status bar mod) and love it.
