2014 onwards models - adjust handbrake

Does anyone know how to adjust the handbrake on our new 3s?

With the car being new, everything is still stretching so The service interval doesnt happen often enough to keep my handbrake usable.

I adjusted mine a few days ago when I replaced the shift knob. These instructions might help:

You'll need a deep 10mm socket for this. It's easy!

Some of the snap connections need a good pull to get them disengaged. I was concerned too.

Just checked my car.

I havr the usb ports, AUX and SD card right where Im supposed to pull, no real space to get my fingers in there to pull it upwards.

I've been looking for an uninstall center console/shifter area post, that pdf is perfect!

Bruns let me know if you are successful, I'll need to try this out. Going to send in my parts to redlinegoods so I can get some custom shiftboot/ebrake covers made.
