2014 Mazda CX-5 AWD w/ Tech Package
Well, I just put a deposit down on a 2014 CX5 AWD GT w/ Tech Package (meteor gray). The dealership sent me an email indicating that it's currently "ON WATER" with an ETA of 2/21/2013.

I CAN NOT WAIT! :-)

You are doing better than me. I was told the first week in March, must be a slower boat. Good luck with your purchase!

If you can get the name of the vessel, you can track it as it makes it's way across the Pacific.

I asked my salesman if he knew the name of the ship and he said they don't receive that info. It would be fun to track it.

I also put a deposit for a Sky-Blue AWD Touring with no packages. If I was less picky / wanted a moon roof + Bose / Tech packages, it would have been less wait. Meteor Gray would have been less wait too.

Do you know which port the car transport ships arrive in?

Florida Mazda vehicles arrive at the port in Jacksonville.

Cool, now we can search what RORO vessels are scheduled to arrive @ JAXport. Is the date 2/21 when you are expected to take delivery or when the ship is due to dock?

I think that date was another poster. Mine has an ETA to dealer of 3/2 but they said typically shipments have been arriving a few days earlier than expected. Since I have a VIN I figure it must be built, if not on the water.

Just emailed MazdaUSA to get better info on shipping logistics. In the meantime, you can sign up to get email updates of arriving vessels into the Port of Jacksonville http://feeds.feedburner.com/ArrivingVesselsJacksonville

Once you get closer to the expected arrival date you can search the itineraries of the arriving vessels and see which one has come from Japan.

Just heard from MazdaUSA and not much they can offer.

It will get here sooner or later and there is not much I can do about speeding up the process. I do agree it is fun to track purchases though. Thanks.
