Hi, all. Been lurking here for a while and doing research. Thanks for all the input so far.
Anyway, today I saw a used 2014 CX-5 AWD GT with tech listed for sale at a local dealership: http://www.monroevillemazda.com/detail.aspx?id=2671867&PrefID=0&.aspx
i went to look at it and see what was the best price they would do. I knew there was going to be trouble when i asked a salesperson about the used CX-5 for sale, and he said 'impossible, no such thing'. I told him I had just called and told they had a demonstrater. he said 'oh, well, that wouldn't be a used car, then'. LOL.
Started to talk numbers and they were not willing to budge one dollar. the way I see it, KBB shows the first year depreciation as a bit over $7000 so the dealer should be taking a good chunk off. I would've settled for about half that amount since the car has been driven for 7 months and has almost 5K miles.
what do you think?
