I'm so sad to have lost our 2012 Mazda5 Grand Touring in an accident in July. The other driver was 100% at fault and I'm angry that a good, clean, inexpensive car was taken off the road, likely to be replaced in this world by a bloated SUV or EV. I'd only gotten it about a year prior (flown to VA to get a known-history, non-salted example), had put a bunch of work into it to bring it up to my standards, and invested in it to go another 100k miles. Sadly, it won't get the chance.
I have a few items to sell that were not in the car when the insurance company took it that I'm looking to pass on. My aim is for these prices to be quite reasonable, but if I'm off, just let me know.
- OEM carpet mats - $50 - They literally look brand new. I don't think a shoe has ever stepped on them. The winter mats were in the car for its entire life.
- OEM winter mats - $50 - They're in good shape.
- OEM Yakima Whispbar Roof Rack w/ Bicycle Attachment - $200 - There's a little bit of surface corrosion in places that you can't even really see and doesn't affect anything. The gaskets that go against the car should be replaced. I have the part number and they can be sourced from Yakima. I discussed with them when I was sourcing replacement keys.
- Andros Wheels (17x7.5 ET45) with Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tires, 215/50R17 - $550 - The wheels are nearly perfect and they look great on the car. The tires are slightly taller than stock, but fit great with no rubs. They ride well, too. They have been used the past few winters between our previous Mazda3 and the Mazda5, but very sparingly. We only ran them for as long as we needed to during the winter and they didn't accumulate many miles, as my wife and I were both working from home since Covid. They look like they have ~90% tread.
All prices are plus shipping, or can be picked up in Dexter, MI. If anyone happens to want everything, I'd do $750 for it all.
Here are the pictures. If someone is interested in the wheels/tires, I'm happy to take pictures of each individually, but they are in 9.5/10 condition, or better.
