2010 M3 Sport Audio Specifications?

Anybody out there have detail specs for the standard (NON Bose) audio system?

Just trying to get an idea of power and distortion and all the other little bits of information that help to identify the quality of the audio system.

Decided that replacing the HU was a bit too much trouble, costly, and with a potential loss of existing features (info display, BT, etc.)

So I am looking to see if it is worth getting a separate amp and new door speakers while keeping the existing tweeters. Can you say "Low Budget Upgrade"?

And no, I am not looking to put in a subwoofer at this time.

Any help/suggestions are most welcome!

Stock system sucks. nobody knows the specs because nobody cares.

I agree replacing the headunit is to much trouble and i like the look of the stock one.
If you have an S sport, and you are on a low budget get a cheap set of components ($100-200)for the front and REPLACE the tweeter.. dont leave the stock one. you would be wasting your time. try to get speakers rated under 150w if you just run them off the stock head unit. over that you will need an amp to make them scream.
get some coaxials for the rear and you will be more than happy!
