How to resize photos:
Most digital cameras take photos in a very high resolution. That maybe great for printing photos but for a forum we only need at most 640x480 resolution to get the big picture (pun intended). Larger photos increase the page loading time (even more so for dial-up users) and take up more screen realestate than necessary. Most graphics and photo management software programs allow you to export images in a different size. If you don't have any software you can even do it online for free using the following website:
http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

How to upload photos to your user account:
Select "User CP" from top of page and choose "Upload Files".
Click "Browse" and navigate to your photo (no larger than 640x480 for this thread).
Click "Upload" to upload the file. It should appear in the list afterward.
Right-click the photo link and choose "Copy Link Location".
When you post, insert your image into your post using the image toolbar icon (advanced reply only) or by using the {img}{/img} tags (replace curly brackets with square brackets).
