How do you register for Co-driving? im going to the 10th event at AMS and driving a friends SI?? im registered but how do i make sure its set up for co-driving?
just make sure you're registered in the same car/class, and like Andrew said, put a "1" in front of one your numbers.

When Scott drove my car he was 179 and I was 79.

ok so he needs to be 19 then if im 9 got ya....so we're all set then..look for me out there in the Mainstream Built 99si....we even got a sponsor lol. should be fun

The Protege became a POS after you hit an immovable object. Since then you've had the MR2. :D

actually there was the Mustang for 2 months (moms car) and then the Legacy for awhile but i guess its all the same lol

I just couldn't get into a groove on Sunday. Maybe I'll do better this coming Sunday at AMS.

I had a good day on Sunday..:D

Satuday's TnT and the Traqmate data has opened my eyes....

Data aquisition rules! You can't argue with hard data.

Just because a technique feels faster doesn't mean it is. There were sections that I was driving faster in the wet than I did in the dry because I used a different line/attack on a corner.

Now the trick is to take this data and put it together at the next event...giddy.

I was thinking the same thing, but most autocross courses share at least basic characteristics with eachother (ex slalom, hairpin, etc.). At least, that's the only thing I can come up with...

Anyone (besides Brian :p and Luke, cuz he's too cool to shag cones) wanna chime in on my course worker discussion over in soloatlanta?

JD or the other guy should be responsible for educating the Novices on how/when to shag cones. Vets should be the one hold the flag/radio.

the course at AMS won't look like the course we had at TF. Corners will be different, slaloms, too. What does the data teach you?

It shows me what I did in each "element". As simple as, my first run I didn't really "launch" the car. But on my subsequent starts I did and gained around .2 seconds alone.

I also tried different entries/techniques in different sections and had those overlay each other with all data points available (speed, Gs) and could see where I was in relation to each one at any particular point.

So for the future, when I am at a particular "element" I can know what the fastest way (according to my data) through it would be.

The crazy thing is, that on my last 3 class runs I was within .03x of each other. And I tried a few different things during each run. I suppose there is something to be said for consistency.

I also got first-hand experience to the sensitivities that the MR-S has to changing conditions. My first TO in the afternoon was around .6 faster than my morning runs, and the car felt great!

It doesn't teach me anything.. it shows me braking, acceleration, side loads, etc... and can overlay mine and Stephen's runs...

i was talking about Wayne's data aquisition.\

edit - guess it's the samething.

Good thing you made that so clear in your questions (wink)
