Hey Guys.

Im a bit stuck, i cant seem to figure out how to remove my stock radio in my car. Its the absolute pits! Kills any cd's you put in it, and doesnt go above 89.9fm,

If you know could you help me try and remove this dog of a thing?

Pic Attached, only difference is the 3 turning dials are round, and it has a mini disk player below the Screen

I've been trying to do the same thing for over a year, as I have the same radio. Even if you can get it off, there's no fascia to replace it with to install your own custom radio. There was a link posted here a while ago to a video about installing a radio on top of the dashboard. Not really suitable for my situation, but that might be worth looking into for you.
If that's not suitable, your own option (which is what I did) is to get a band expander installed. Sorry :(

Unless a fascia comes out, I'll probably end up selling my Demio (unfortunately) and buying a Verisa. I don't really want to, but I listen to the radio a LOT in my car and it's frustrating not being able to pick up all the stations properly.

Yeah it's the only down side of my Demio :(

i'd love to know whats behind that faceplate, so if i can take it apart, at least know something will go in there, and not have to try to redesign the radio area cause i put a screwdriver in the wrong place!

Hey thanks for that video, it shows me at least how to get the faceplate off, i'll have a look maybe tomorrow see what i can do in there :)
