2001 2.0L protege headers for a mx6

Hello fellow mazda people.

I have a question for y'all. (Yes, I'm southern)

Will headers for a 2001 2.0L protege fit on the 2nd gen 2.0L i4 MX-6?

I tried searching, but I can't use "mx6" or "mx-6" in the search.

Well if you have a FS series motor (same as I4 probe motor)
It should fit because we have the same motors just different ecu.

I am pretty sure the I4 probe and mx6 use the same motor.

while the head bolt pattern for the manifold are the same, i'm not too sure about the exhaust layout under the car. from what i undersstand, there is a slight difference in the layout that makes fitting header a little bit more work then just bolting them in. also, the egr tubing doesn't seem to be at the same angle between the two cars either. so while these are not terribly hard to get around, you do need to be aware of them.
