What about Canada?

The MPI limits are -44 and +44 (at least according to my software). :D


Edit: not sure if I read it wrong or when I upgraded the software, but it is now -45 to +45.

My car put down..around 170hp & tq..

I was very suprised...But than again..i haven't tuned w/ any wideband..and drove all the way down to his place (1.5hrs)..and was boosting the whole way down..

I was doing about 80-120mph!(nana)

I asked him to email me the pics..but no luck yet!(pissed)

what variables did you enter, when i dyno on my phone it allways gives me around 50 Whp, and i'm on a slight decline.
 
kooldino: how does that PDA dyno work ? I mean, where do you connect it for it to see the power n stuff ?

i'd be really interested in setting that up in my MSP
 
it plugs into the obd II serial port..on the left side..next the hood release..

But that would mean a 1:1 ratio...meaning -4 on the mpi would be 4 degrees retard...AM I right in saying the limits of degrees on the engine itslef is -45, 45?

thanks. didn't know it was that easy

i just check the website with the software ... looks good, but kinda expensive. Cables and adapters are about 35$ on ebay, i have hotsync cable already, so 250$ for just the software ? Bleh ... anyway, i'll look into it

it had a lot of other cool features besides the dyno. You can check temps, and voltages also along with other stuff im sure. I really wish i had one.
 
You are correct Paul. My PDA Dyno has saved my ass quite a few times! It's like having a s***-load of extra gauges without taking up extra space!

Nick said that since we are driving the coils directly, that each value equals a degree. So -4 is 4 degrees or retard and 4 is 4 degrees of advance. Cool???
