08 hid headlight issue

Hey guys I just traded in my 08 Mazda3 and got 08 ms3 gt. my question is when I use the auto headlight adjust inside the car one doesn't work. It just makes a clicking noise. Does that mean I need a whole new headlight or can I just buy the internals. I searched and couldn't find anything. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the servo gears are stripped in one headlight. This can be expensive to fix. At 0 the headlights should both be at their highest level. at 3 the headlights should be at their lowest level. If you bought the car from a dealer have them look at it before your warranty period is over.
