Hello to all!
We at the RX8 club have been planning a summer meet for couple months

So we have decided on a set schedule and we hope to have as many Cars as possible!

Here is the Info:

MEET

Devou Park
We will meet at the top parking lot of Devou Park.

Directions:

1) If you are coming South on I-75 you will get off of the first exit when you
cross the bridge. It is exit 192, 5th Street, Covington/Newport. When you
get off the exit you will immediately have to go right or left. You want to
go to the right toward Ludlow. Turn right at the stop sign. Go through 1
stop sign and you will be right in front of a Hampton Inn. As soon as you
pass it Western Ave will be on the left. Turn left onto Western Ave.
Follow the road till you see a sign for Devou Park. There is a small green
sign on a pole on the left or there is a bigger one on the right. You will
make a real sharp right hand turn which will point you in the direction you
just came. Make sure you keep going to the right and you will find yourself
at the top of the lookout with a large parking lot in front of you. We will
be there.

2) If you are coming North on I-75
Take exit 192, 5th Street Covington, Newport
Turn Left at the light.
At the second light turn left onto 3rd Ave.
Stay right till you pass the Hampton Inn
Turn left onto Western Ave. Go about .75 miles
Take SHARP Right into Devou Park and keep going toward the right till you
are at the top.

TIME

2 pm

CRUISE

To be decided at the meet ( so bring Ideas )

AFTER CRUISE

We will finish the meet at Hooters in Newport at the levee

Last time we had some cars getting lost ... so if you have 2 way radios... bring

Pistons should be here soon.. and yea I'll get it back together in a week. I'm a badass like that lol. I'm a little worried about my cold pipe tough.. Since I'm trading it I hope when we swap it gets here on time.. It should be really nice when its all back together

For anyone in Louisville that's going, a bunch of us are meeting up off Westport Rd. around noon to grab some lunch and then head out.

I may or may not make it. I need a part for my car from the dealer and I'm hoping to get in early Sat. so hopefully the car will be ready in time.

No . It had the CEL when I got it. They told me they would take care of it when I came back the following week for the "final inspection." Well the "final inspection" is a bunch of bull s***. They failed to notice the CEL and the paint chips on the inside of the fender on the passenger side. So they said they had to order some part that's causing the CEL. The only day I can get in is Saturday.

I'm going to try my hardest to go, but if my car is still being worked on I can't make it. That's why I'm hoping to get in early and get out before noon.

Okay I'm still on. Have the car going in first thing Friday morning, so hopefully it'll be back to me in the afternoon. Then I can take it home, wash her up and meet up with everyone at noon.

As far as the car, it's some stupid CEL issue and some part they have to replace. So they are going to replace it and hopefully have the car back to me by the afternoon.

Oh, I just called them and asked if I could bring it in Friday. I just need to get a ride from my mom to work, which is no biggy since she works like a few blocks away.
