I'm trying to install this 06 mazda3 6 disc stock stereo into my 05 mazda3 s. I ran into a problem however. The display for the 05 has a power cord that plugs into a circuit board on the stereo itself so that the power source for everything is diverted through the one plug into the car. The 06 mazda3 6 disc, however, has a separate cord for the power of the display. Is there any way I can modify this? I actually bought the stereo from someone on a message board a long time ago but forgot that I had it. I recently found it and wanted to install it but ran into this problem, and returning it is not an option.
