Ti. Grey Mazda3 GT GFX
'05 US-spec Mazda3 changes

No major changes (not a big surprise there).

Features:
- new accessory, Sirius radio
- new hubcap design for the Mazda3i (the current ones are quite ugly)

Colors:
- solar yellow deleted for both Mazda3 5-door and Mazda3s sedan
- titanium gray available for Mazda3i
- lava orange deleted for Mazda3s sedan (remains on 5-door)

I don't have any Canadian info, but I think it's safe to assume that the new hubcaps will apply to Canada. And perhaps no more Sunset Orange Mica on the Canadian-spec Mazda3 GT GFX.

Edit: More Canadian-spec changes in page 2 of this thread

good info wongpress. definately would like to hear about the tech stuff though. other than that, no other interior changes?

NOOOOO I loved that orange color. I haven't seen a yellow one even though there's a huge mazda dealership in my town.

Sweet, so those of us with the '04 solar yellows will be the only ones (yippy) I kinda like the unique fuzzy feeling ;)

I heard something about dual exhast and 6-10 more hp, not true I supose?

By the way Phil, I am looking forward to that sweet stealth box to compliment my 3 (yippy)

Not to thread hi-jack, but have you sent me an e-mail ? I have been super busy lately and my e-mail has not been checked as much as it should have ;). And about the dual exhaust...any exhaust system properly fabricated can see those gains if not more, single pipe or dual.

Yep I sent you one. Evan from ATL, can't pay up until July 1, so take as much time as you need!

Nope still people with a sedan locally coming forward so I can make the measurements and create a mold so nothign for the sedan yet. And about the box on ebay that is the first time I have seen that and it is really interesting seeing it is my box that I just shipped up to him(lux-design the seller) a month or 2 ago. And the pics in the auction are not of his box but of Mark's(the first box I made the mold from). Although I am very flattered that he thinks my work is worth what the auction is listed at....very interesting .

Crzyone01, i'm sure this has been brought up to you a hundred times, but any progress on the stealth for the sedan? I'm guessing you saw this on ebay? Why doesn't anyone make it for the sedan!!!!! (2thumbs)

haha, sorry if the guys from here, but I know i've seen it either here or at mazda3forums. but from what i remember he did do it himself. i may have had a few glasses in wine in me though, so i'm not really sure. you'll always be the pioneer in the stealth boxes though in my opinion phil!

Oh, no there is a guy on cardomain that made one and it turned out great for him. But the seller on the auction is one of the people I shipped a box to ;)

that would be tight since it should be backward compatible with the 2004

Any word on price changes? I was looking for a 2004 but can't find the options I want right now, so I'll probably end up ordering an '05 (thank goodness production has been increased).

Welcome to the board, please put your location in your profile as it really helps to provide location-specific information (like in this case).

The prices will go up a couple hundred dollars for the '05. However, the '04 MSRP was also recently bumped up slightly. This is so the '05 price increase doesn't seem so big - many manufacturers do this in the US market.

OK just updated my profile.

By the way, how hard is it to negotiate on a Mazda 3i 5-speed with ABS/SAC and Power Pkg? There aren't many around and I'm wondering if anyone will give me much below MSRP.

What was the price (CAD) originally when the Mazda 3 came out?
