OK i will check that out and see if maybe that is it but i was also wandering if this would cause the noise to happen only when the car is cold because once the car warms up it stops. Sorry for all the questions.

Which heatshield are you talking about. I just used all the stuff that came with the exhaust. Would something like that cause it to make a sound. It sounds like it is leaking but then when the car gets warm it doesnt do it anymore?

When i first start the car my exhaust is making alot of noise like right below the shifter or in that area. Did any of yall with the Ion Exhaust have this problem and do you have any idea what it could be because it doesnt do it when the exhaust warms up.

I just ordered the 3" ion turbo back exhaust and got the down-pipe ceramic coated. MPNICK said that coating can cause the metal to crack. Will the ceramic coating cause my down-pipe to crack?
