To followup, the method that invivo posted worked for me. I tried with just the ignition on but didn't work. It did work while the car was running though.

Another thing to look for if you have a clunk when going over bumps is the pass side upper motor mount. Apparently it's a pretty common failure and mine has already busted on my 09 GT.

I can't get into the system at all to try pairing a phone. As soon as I hit the button, it gives the message that it's locked. This means I can't go into the setup menu or anything.
